This Jaguar Mark II Sedan has a powerful 3.4 litre engine. A truly superb car that really stands out in a crowd. Sadly I must part with it as I am no longer able to garage it properly due to the arrival of another classic. She has been all but fully restored mechanically. The engine was completely rebuilt in early 2015 and has covered barely 1500km since. The engine also has a new cylinder head, oil pump, water pump and radiator. I have installed a Pertronix electronic ignition module and also done a great deal of under bonnet rewiring although most of the original wiring loom is still present. New clutch plate also. The distributor has also just been overhauled and I have also replaced the windscreen wiper motor in the last 2 years. It also has a brand new windscreen. It has just had major steering and suspension restoration work done including new shock absorbers all round. Full receipts including itemised breakdown of all work done will be supplied with the car. The interior leather is in remarkably good condition. The only seat that ever gets any real use is the drivers seat which has some light creasing but still presents very well. It is the original colour however and presents beautifully. The chrome work on the bumpers is still fairly presentable but a new owner may want to look at getting it redone at some stage. The only exception is the inside of the engine bay which is still in "original condition" ie: it needs to be done. It has a very good quality Sony radio/cassette which would seem to have been fitted in the late 1990's or early noughties. All speakers work perfectly as does the aerial. She holds absolutely perfect oil pressure and temperature all day and the overdrive solenoid works perfectly also. The only issues with the instrumentation is the speedo needle wanders a bit but is still (relatively) accurate and the cable for the Rev Counter needs replacing.
