Yamaha p-85 digital piano with X-stand and manual. $700 ono. Only 7 months old - it still has 2 years and 5 months of warranty left on it. Reason for selling - we are moving to Canada.
It has a full 88-key board with weighted keys. But not only are the keys weighted, but they are weighted heavier toward the bass region and lighter toward the treble region - just like a real grand piano. Also, in real pianos the tonal quality of a key differs according to how hard it is pressed. The touch sensitivity recognizes both volume and tone to replicate that. The sound is from sampled grand piano sounds.
It also has 64-note polyphony. This means that you can play 64 notes at once. Some lower-priced keyboards are limited in how many notes they can play at the same time. While 32-note polyphony might seem good enough to you (after all, you only have 10 fingers), the problem is that if you play several chords right after each other, the echoes of the first chords get cut off if your polyphony is too low
